Information we receive

The company submission form collects the company information you provide, your name, email address, and LinkedIn profile. Address suggestions include the proposed address, source URL, and notes. Issue reports include the company involved, issue type, details, and page URL. If you email support, we receive your email address and the message and attachments you send. Please do not send confidential or sensitive personal information.

We store a hashed network identifier to limit repeated submissions. Hosting and map providers may receive technical information, such as your IP address, browser information, and requested resources, when you visit. The map requests data from OpenFreeMap and may use OpenStreetMap tiles as a fallback. External links and email services are governed by their providers’ own privacy practices.

How we use information

We use submissions and reports to research, verify, maintain, and improve the directory, and use contact information to respond to requests and follow up. Submitter contact information is not displayed publicly; company information accepted for publication may appear in the directory.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell submitter contact information. Information may be processed by providers that support hosting, database storage, email, and internal review notifications (Slack), or disclosed when required by law. We retain submissions, reports, and correspondence for as long as needed to review requests, maintain the directory, and meet applicable obligations.

Cookies and tracking

We use Vercel Web Analytics to measure aggregate visits and page views, including referrers, approximate location, and browser and device information. This analytics service does not use cookies. We exclude URL query parameters and do not send form contents or contact information to analytics. The map application does not add advertising trackers or use browser storage to save searches. Hosting and third-party services may use their own cookies or technical logs. The application does not change its behavior in response to a browser’s Do Not Track signal.

Your choices and requests

Email support@socalfoundry.com to ask about, correct, or request removal of personal information you provided, or to request a listing correction. Include enough information for us to identify your request. We may need to verify your identity before acting; applicable legal and recordkeeping requirements may affect what we can remove.

About the directory

SoCal Foundry helps users discover Southern California hard-tech companies. Listings are for general information, may change, and are not endorsements. Addresses and map pins may be approximate; verify details directly with the company before relying on them.

Submissions and acceptable use

Only submit information you are authorized to share. Do not submit confidential, misleading, unlawful, or infringing material, or interfere with the site’s operation. By submitting company information for the directory, you permit us to review, edit, and publish that information for the directory’s operation. We may verify, decline, update, or remove listings.

Ownership and third-party materials

Montoro6 Holdings LLC owns SoCal Foundry and its original branding, site design, and original content. Company names, logos, and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners. Map data and software remain subject to their respective licenses and attribution requirements. Inclusion does not imply affiliation with or endorsement by a listed company.

External services and availability

Company websites, map links, and other external resources are operated by third parties. Their content and availability are outside our control. The directory is provided as available, without a guarantee that every listing, address, description, or link is complete or current. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
